AdBlock plus is a small browser Add on which sits either at the top right corner of your browser navigation bar as a red icon or on your status bar, by clicking on the icon will provide with a list of blockable items on the given page and also has more features from its options menu. You can quickly personalize that list by clicking on the AdBlock Plus “Stop sign” button.

I have Window 7 operating system, and definitely believe this is an essential add-on for anyone using Firefox or Chrome. The add-On is unobtrusive and does not interfere with web browsing. I believe it’s as essential an enhancement as security software.You will never find anything like this in IE. This in itself gives Fire Fox and Chrome advantage over IE. (Just my opinion). AdBlock installs easily. Web Browsing looks so much cleaner now. Seems to block the fake “ad” search results as well as banner/sidebar ads. Ads on web pages could be a thing of the past if you use this add-on. It’s not too difficult to configure and use it but creating your own filter rules might be a bit daunting for some, but than its easy to get used to it and once configured and saved, you will love its ability to make your surfing clutter free.
